Discreet InstallationThe all-new 9500CI provides the ultimate in custom installation. All sensors utilize our modular connections to the interface, and our new miniature control module and display provide multiple installation options, giving more install flexibility. Color-coded cables for easy connection and reduced installation time.

Our new twin-antenna design gives the PASSPORT 9500CI the ability to dissect each specific radar signal and provide the most accurate long-range warning possible. It's also completely undetectable-perfect for drivers who like to run unnoticed.

Precise Laser Protection

Our new Laser receivers/"Shifters" are now more effective than ever. Multiple sensors, (both front and rear) have increased sensitivity for receiving and we've increased our ability to effectively "Shift" all incoming laser signals, including the latest double-pulse guns. They're also easier to install using a newly designed clamp-mount which eliminates drilling holes in the vehicle.

Adaptive Signal Processing

In addition to our patented TrueLock technology, which allows you to lock out known false signals by location and frequency, we're introducing Adaptive Signal Processing (ASP). This exclusive technology automatically "learns" each radar signal and will determine if it's a real threat or not. The data is stored and updated real-time while it's on the road, providing the most accurate true-threat alert system possible.

Smart Performance

The PASSPORT 9500CI will vary its sensitivity based on the speed of the vehicle. At interstate speeds, all radar bands are at full sensitivity. At slower speeds, X and K-band sensitivity is reduced, but providing plenty of range at that speed. Parked or at a stop light, the 9500CI is smart enough to know that you're not at risk and will only alert if a real threat is present. This is truly the smartest detector ever!

DEFENDER® Database

The PASSPORT 9500CI's "Mark Location" feature enables the customer to manually mark known speed traps, camera locations, or anything else worth noting. Once stored in its memory, the 9500CI will provide sufficient warning for all of these points of interest.

The PASSPORT 9500CI comes pre-loaded with our DEFENDER® Database - thousands of safety camera locations, including red light and speed-based cameras throughout North America. You can also download updates, back up your data, and stay on top of new threats directly from our website. The 9500CI comes complete with a 3 year camera data base subscription. After the included 3 year subscription expires, DEFENDER® Database Subscriptions will be available for purchase.

High-Resolution Display

PASSPORT's miniature display provides a multitude of installation options, including an in-dash bezel (included) for that factory installed look. Easy-to-read alerts and access to user preferences are clearly visible at a glance.

User-Selectable Preferences

PASSPORT comes ready to use out of the box. However, you can also customize it for your unique driving preferences.

The PASSPORT 9500CI comes complete with owner's manual and installation guide, installation DVD, COOL TRICK INSTALL KIT (Includes: Crimper, VHB Tape, Fuse Stake, Disconnect Terminal, Zip Ties, Velcro Hook & Loop Fasteners, Modular 4 Pin RJ11 Connectors and 3M Quick Connect Terminal), separate miniature controller and text display, front-mounted radar receiver, twin front-mounted laser receivers/shifters, rear license plate mounted laser receiver/shifter, 12-volt interface module, GPS antenna, 12-volt amplified speaker, display bezel, bi-color LED, and all mounting hardware. Also includes a 3 Year Database Subscription.

Important:

Location Database Updates and Detector Software Updates for the PASSPORT SC55, PASSPORT 9500IX, PASSPORT 9500I, and PASSPORT 9500CI require a Windows based computer with active Internet connection. (Operating on Windows XP Vista, or Windows 7 only.)

The Passport SC55, Passport 9500i and Passport 9500ix require an USB A to Mini USB cable (USB printer cable required for Passport 9500ci) not included with detector - before you can install location database updates and detector software updates.

•Some vehicles may require optional mounting brackets or additional labor due to the complexity of the vehicle.

•Most European and exotic cars, Mercedes, Jaguar, Porsche, Audi just to name a few, enclose their engine compartments with additional noise suppression. This makes running wires and mounting units in these vehicles more difficult.

•Mounting the interior control box behind a dash panel or altering it to fit in a certain area is considered a custom installation.
